A few days ago, we pulled this 1978 Cuddy Nautique out of a barn in the Tennessee mountains and brought it back to our facility. These are kind of rare vessels. The hull is the same as the Fish Nautique, but the top deck was built by the Regal Boat Company, and transported to Correct Craft for installation onto the hull, creating the cuddy cabin. Not sure how many were made, or why, but it will make a great wintertime cruiser! We're looking forward to working on it, and seeing how much of the original seating/flooring/equipment can be saved.

Interior progress continues! I am very happy with how the interior has cleaned up! Not bad for sitting in a barn for the last seventeen years!

Here's the beautiful OMC 350 engine.  I was hoping to find a PCM 454 in the engine box, but no such luck.  This 350 will be OK though, after we correct some things that we found.  The automotive distributor (with vacuum advance that hooks to....nothing) has to go.  The Rochester Quadrajet carb is being sent off for rebuild.  We have sourced the proper impeller (which, oddly enough, is the same one used in OMC/Johnson OUTBOARDS!).  We'll do the usual tune-up items, and then try to fire it up!

Here are some pictures from when we were pulling it out of the barn.

We rigged up some excellent-quality lighting for the three-hour trip through the mountains!

It is now safe at our facility, and will be moved inside this week.
