Silver Cove Marine

This 1990 Ski Nautique came in experiencing some transmission issues, which we'll diagnose. We'll also address an occasional no-crank/no-start issue while it is here.

This rare 1996 Ski Nautique Body Glove Edition is making its second visit to Silver Cove Marine. Shortly after the restoration work we completed earlier this year, this vessel became overly friendly with a shoal and had its underwater gear damaged, and picked up a hole in the gelcoat and fiberglass. She'll need a new prop, shaft, strut, engine alignment, and fiberglass and gelcoat repair. We'll fix it right up!

The owner of a 1993 Ski Nautique sent in his dash for a full gauge replacement, along with replacement of the switch panels and switches. This dash is going to look great! Here's how it looked when it arrived: We've been working on it for a couple of days, and it is looking much better now. We still need to get the new hour meter and a blank for where the clock was mounted, fix the peeling vinyl, do some cleaning, and add the screws to the new 12-volt plug, but we're close!

This vessel was with us before, and now the owner has decided to do a full repower! This one is getting a brand new PCM ZR-409 and a brand new 80-series 1.23:1 transmission. Can't beat that setup!

We have a special boat in for some restoration work right now. This 1996 Ski Nautique Body Glove Edition is owned by a gentleman in South Carolina, and he wants us to do some carpet, upholstery, and dash work, and get it caught up on a few maintenance items. It is in very nice condition already, and we'll do our best to make it even better. Scroll down to see the pictures of our progress as we work on this unique vessel.

A client brought this 2000 Super Air Nautique in this morning with a cracked block, and we'll be replacing the GT-40 engine with a verified used one from our stock. We'll have this vessel back on the water soon!

UPDATE (July 13, 2026): We have accepted a deposit on this vessel, and it will no longer be for sale when the restoration is complete. It is quite common for our restoration boats to not even make it to the For Sale page of the site. They often sell before the restorations are even complete! We pulled this Ski Nautique 196 out of Florida, and will be restoring it to great condition. This one is a Signature Edition, so no gateway to worry about, and it has the Excalibur 330

We purchased this 1997 Ski Nautique out of Texas, and will be restoring it and listing it for sale. It is a nice boat with great colors, and we'll make it beautiful! This one will be getting a complete gelcoat refresh, new rub rail, all new factory decals, a refurbished dash, a refurbished windshield frame, a refurbished swim platform, and new original-style upholstery.

A client brought his really cool 1992 Sport Nautique to us this afternoon. This boat is still owned by the original family, and they would like to see it brought back to beautiful condition, and that is our plan. It will be getting refreshed gelcoat, new decals & graphics, some engine work, a complete trailer refresh, gauge repairs, a new hidden bluetooth stereo, a refinished windshield frame, and more. This Ski Nautique 206 SE belongs to a friend of ours, and is in for a little cleanup work and to be prepped for sale. This boat would be perfect for two types of people. It is great as-is for someone who wants to just jump in and ski/ride without worrying about keeping a boat perfect. It would also be a great restoration candidate. A client from Pennsylvania brought this vessel to us in hopes that we could figure out a miss that was occurring in his engine. Another shop had done extensive work on the engine after an unfortunate electrical issue, but the engine still isn't running quite right. We'll do our best to track down the issue, and fix a few other little things along the way.

It was not damaged nearly as badly as some other boats, however the tower needs to be replaced, some gelcoat and fiberglass work is needed, and a few other things need to be addressed. Our client was lucky that it wasn't damaged further. Here's the boat as it arrived at our facility.
