We purchased this 1997 Ski Nautique out of Texas, and will be restoring it and listing it for sale. It is a nice boat with great colors, and we'll make it beautiful! This one will be getting a complete gelcoat refresh, new rub rail, all new factory decals, a refurbished dash, a refurbished windshield frame, a refurbished swim platform, and new original-style upholstery.
The rub rail came off today. Gelcoat restoration starts next week!
Interior is out too. That'll be happening at the same time as the gelcoat.
We're getting started on this one! Today, we removed the existing decals. The gelcoat on this boat didn't look too bad until we started pulling decals. Now it really shows how much better it is going to look once wet sanded and polished!
