We purchased this 1997 Ski Nautique out of Texas, and will be restoring it and listing it for sale. It is a nice boat with great colors, and we'll make it beautiful! This one will be getting a complete gelcoat refresh, new rub rail, all new factory decals, a refurbished dash, a refurbished windshield frame, a refurbished swim platform, and new original-style upholstery.

This boat was wrapped and sent on its way to Alabama with its new owner yesterday. I know he'll love it! Typically, shrink wrap on a boat only goes down about 6" past the rub rail, but we wanted this one fully-protected for its trip home in the rain, so we painstakingly wrapped it all the way down below the chine. This is difficult to do due to the placement of the wrap's perimeter band being difficult to reach, but it provides great protection if you can do it. It should be nice and clean when it arrives in Alabama.
This one is complete! Yesterday, SeaDek was installed in place of the old factory black non-skid, the rest of the interior was installaed, the bimini top was mounted and adjusted, and the Nautique-branded floor mat was installed. This is a great-looking boat!
Water test time for this beauty! It is always fun to test boats like this, and it passed with flying colors. Fun ride today! The rest of the interior goes in tomorrow, and it'll get a good cleaning. It is almost time to say goodbye to this one.
The customer purchasing this vessel requested a depth finder, so we installed the matching Faria depth finder display, complete with air and water temperature readings.
The engine for this boat is all assembled now, with new GT40P heads, new Quick Fuel carburetor, new distributor, new spark plugs, new exhaust riser gaskets (and freshly-painted risers, too), new belts, etc. We took it outside and ran it on the hose today to set the timing, and it sounds great! We've got a new flame arrestor with the proper port for the fuel pump vent line on order, and then it'll be time for a lake test. Looking forward to getting it on the water in the next few days, and then it'll be time for a good bilge cleaning, and upholstery installation!
