We have a special boat in for some restoration work right now. This 1996 Ski Nautique Body Glove Edition is owned by a gentleman in South Carolina, and he wants us to do some carpet, upholstery, and dash work, and get it caught up on a few maintenance items. It is in very nice condition already, and we'll do our best to make it even better. Scroll down to see the pictures of our progress as we work on this unique vessel.
This vessel went home with its owner this morning. It sure is a good-looking boat!
Before heading out for the test ride, I was testing the gauges and found that the depth finder / water temp gauge wasn't powering up. We found that it was wired improperly, so we rewired it properly, using marine heat-shrink connectors to the proper locations, and it is now up and running.
Dash is back in the boat. Heading to the lake in the morning for a test ride.
Today, we mounted the bimini top on this vessel. Gotta say, I kind of like the color!
The freshly-reupholstered side panels are going in now. They came out great!
