A client brought his really cool 1992 Sport Nautique to us this afternoon. This boat is still owned by the original family, and they would like to see it brought back to beautiful condition, and that is our plan. It will be getting refreshed gelcoat, new decals & graphics, some engine work, a complete trailer refresh, gauge repairs, a new hidden bluetooth stereo, a refinished windshield frame, and more. Stay tuned as we bring this one back to life!
The engine on this vessel got all new hoses today, as requested by the owner. It is looking good!
Windshield reassembly starts tomorrow! This is one of my favorite parts of a restoration. This frame was meticulously taken apart, media blasted, powder coated black, and will be reassembled and reinstalled now. We'll take this time to thoroughly clean the glass and the original rubber surrounds before putting it all back together.
This vessel got its new rub rail installed today. Looks a little better than the original!
Today, this vessel got the Pro-Tec elimination kit installed, along with a brand new Quick Fuel carburetor, with the special flexible fuel line that this carb requires. This is going to be a sweet-running boat!
