UPDATE (July 13, 2026): We have accepted a deposit on this vessel, and it will no longer be for sale when the restoration is complete. It is quite common for our restoration boats to not even make it to the For Sale page of the site. They often sell before the restorations are even complete!
We pulled this Ski Nautique 196 out of Florida, and will be restoring it to great condition. This one is a Signature Edition, so no gateway to worry about, and it has the Excalibur 330 engine. Stay tuned as we make it beautiful!

This vessel got its cover modified with new detachable side skirts today. Now it is ready to be delivered to the new owner!
This vessel had its final water test yesterday, along with a full test of its PerfectPass Stargazer system. Everything is working perfectly. This boat is ready to go to its new owner, and we know he is going to love it!
So close to completion now!! New Stargazer PerfectPass with multi-line display installed. New steering wheel installed. New GPS speedometer installed.
Just a few things to finish up now -- The engine cut off switch is being replaced (waiting on the part), there is a small bit of vinyl work needed on the throttle panel pocket area, and it needs one final water test.
Can't wait to finish this one up and find a loving home for it. The person who gets this boat will be very happy!
This vessel got its new PerfectPass Stargazer multi-line display installed today. We also replaced the voltmeter, since on our last water test it was reading about two volts lower than the actual alternator output (according to Diacom). It is getting a brand new GPS speedometer tomorrow, since we don't want the speedometer to be using the paddlewheel and the PerfectPass to be using GPS. We want them to read the same (correct) speed.
And yes, it really does have a motor box!
