A client brought in his 1986 Ski Nautique 2001 for a bit of restoration work. This is already a good-looking boat, and we'll make it even better.

He asked us to fix an issue with it not idling properly, replace the blower and blower hoses, and take care of a couple of other little issues. As we worked, we found additional work that was needed, and that is all outlined below.

This isn't really a restoration, but this is a fairly unusual boat. The owner of this 2002 Air Nautique 196 (basically a Ski Nautique Open Bow with a tower and Air graphics) contacted us because his propeller shaft had snapped and dropped his propeller into the lake. We'll install a new shaft and prop, along with a new dripless packing gland.

Here's the starting point.

We pulled this 1978 Cuddy Nautique out of a barn in the Tennessee mountains and brought it back to our facility. These are kind of rare vessels. The hull is the same as the Fish Nautique, but the top deck was built by the Regal Boat Company, and transported to Correct Craft for installation onto the hull, creating the cuddy cabin. Not sure how many were made, or why, but it will make a great wintertime cruiser! We're looking forward to working on it, and seeing how much of the original seating/flooring/equipment can be saved.
