Now available for sale is this beautiful 2000 Nautique Super Sport. This boat is finished in Hunter Green and Zephyr with gold metal flake pinstripes and accents. This boat has the coveted 5.8L HO GT-40 engine with EFI that produces 310 horsepower. The propeller is the original OJ, and it has been refurbished by OJ, so it is near-perfect. This boat has a newer stereo system with remote, the factory-option depth finder, a matching bimini top, and over the last few months it has had a number of improvements completed to bring it to its current condition. Here are a few.
Gelcoat freshly wet sanded, polished and buffed
New pinstripes
New graphics -- all of them
Windshield frame freshly painted
Main gauges replaced
New spark plugs
New spark plug wires
New blower & hoses
Fresh Oil Change with PCM brand filter
Fuel Control Cell freshly serviced with PCM brand filter
Freshly refinished swim platform
Rear bench seat backrest upholstery is new
Engine hatch upholstery is new
Several seat bases have new upholstery
Everything works as-designed, and the engine runs very nicely.
While this is a very nice vessel, it has not undergone a full restoration, and it does have some imperfections. I try to list as many imperfections as possible when selling a boat so that there are no surprises. Here are a few of the imperfections:
The vinyl, while very nice, is showing some signs of wear on some pieces. There are a few small stains, and a few very small cracks. Some upholstery has been replaced and is in perfect condition (see above).
There are a few small chips in the Hunter Green gelcoat, and one gouge near the tip of the bow. There are pictures of these below.
This boat can come with a trailer, or if you do not need a trailer, the price can be discounted.
The available trailer is a 2023 Boatmate dual-axle (this is the one in the pictures). This trailer has brakes on both axles, all of the lights work, and it comes with a clean and clear North Carolina title in my name. There is damage to one inner bunk on this trailer that was done by a forklift attempting to load a boat onto it. I have used it like this for two years with no problems, but I wanted to disclose it so that there are no surprises. This would be an easy fix if the trailer needed to be perfect. This trailer was made for a Super Air Nautique 230, so the bunks are about two feet longer than necessary for this boat, but this boat fits on it with no problems, and the extra bunk length makes boarding the boat from outside easy.

Price for this boat:
$18,900 with the Boatmate trailer

I noticed on my last test ride that the speedometer in this boat was reading a little on the slow side. I went ahead and replaced the speedometer with a new GPS unit today. Now we know it is accurate!
