A client from Texas brought in his 1999 Ski Nautique. This boat had a restoration started by another company, but they couldn't get to the finish line, so he brought it to us to have the rest of the work done. We're looking forward to getting this one into shape!
Look what arrived today for this vessel!
While we still had the dash off, we went ahead and fixed some structural issues, and reattached the separating vinyl. Here it is with the vinyl adhesive drying.
While we're waiting for the engine to arrive, we're knocking out a checklist of other things on this vessel!
We're still waiting for the replacement engine to arrive from PCM for this boat, but we went ahead and pulled the windshield today, along with the platform brackets, vent covers, and a few other pieces, and will have the windshield frame and other parts powder coated.
Lots of dash work happened today on this vessel. The new switch panel was installed, along with all new circuit breaker switches, new ignition switch, new horn button, and new 12-volt plug. The new gauges were also installed, using our standard wiring procedures of converting everything to ring terminals with adhesive heat shrink, repairing factory wiring defects, and installing the gauge wiring directly to the terminals, not to the studs outside of the brackets. We still need to determine if we will be installing Zero Off or PerfectPass, or just another GPS speedometer, and we need one small gauge blank for the other hole.
