A client from Texas brought in his 1999 Ski Nautique. This boat had a restoration started by another company, but they couldn't get to the finish line, so he brought it to us to have the rest of the work done. We're looking forward to getting this one into shape!
Lots of dash work happened today on this vessel. The new switch panel was installed, along with all new circuit breaker switches, new ignition switch, new horn button, and new 12-volt plug. The new gauges were also installed, using our standard wiring procedures of converting everything to ring terminals with adhesive heat shrink, repairing factory wiring defects, and installing the gauge wiring directly to the terminals, not to the studs outside of the brackets. We still need to determine if we will be installing Zero Off or PerfectPass, or just another GPS speedometer, and we need one small gauge blank for the other hole.
We pulled the dash from this boat today...... and it is not pretty. Missing, broken, and mismatched gauges, and a completely broken bottom edge. We'll do our best to make it beautiful though!
The owner requested a brand new swim platform, and it is complete. Just needs some teak oil and it'll be ready to install. This will look great!
