The 2002 Super Air Nautique is a GIANT in wakeboarding history. This era of Super Air Nautique represents the golden age of OG wakeboarding, at least in my opinion. It is hard to find a better representation of that awesome era than this 2002 Super Air Nautique!

We recently acquired this 2002 Super Air Nautique 210 Team Edition (SANTE) from a gentleman right here in North Carolina. It is in nice condition, but the previous owner had an unfortunate incident with his last oil change. It seems that the gasket from the old oil filter stayed on the engine when the old filter was removed, and when the new filter was installed, it was double-gasketed, resulting in the oil leaking out of the engine and the engine requiring a total rebuild.

We will work with our friends at PCM to rebuild the engine, and the rest of the boat will get the full Silver Cove Marine treatment. It will be beautiful!

This vessel was purchased by a great family at the end of March, 2024, and we will be completing this restoration to their specifications.

Today, our stereo experts are installing the hidden Bluetooth-only stereo in the boat. It will feature the original-style speakers, rear-mounted behind original-style mesh grills. The amp will be mounted in the original location, and the Bluetooth receiver will be hidden as well. The original stereo head unit location in the throttle panel is being filled in. New wiring is being run, and power to the stereo equipment will be active whenever the main toggle switch in the throttle panel is in the RUN position.

While we're waiting for the throttle panel to come back, we installed a few little accessories. The trailer guide pads needed replacement, so we replaced them. The spare tire needed a cover, so we installed one. Also, the owner requested a wood throttle knob, so we put one on. That looks really nice.

The owner of this vessel approved us sending this panel out for fresh vinyl. This is a tough panel to work on, since the vinyl is vacuum molded to the panel, much like a car dashboard. Normal upholstery places won't touch it. We partner with a company in California that will make it look brand new. They're also going to fill in the stereo head unit hole, since this boat will not have a stereo head unit in that location.

Our graphics expert spent the morning installing the graphics and pinstripes, along with all of the smaller stickers, on this beautiful vessel. This is when it really starts to feel like a nearly-complete project.
